This course helps students design and grow their own gardens.
Most students are four to five generations removed from the farm. They do not know how to design and plant a garden. They lack confidence as growers and cultivators.
This course is designed to give students confidence as cultivators and producers. These skills lead to greater creativity, patience, and self-sufficiency.
The greatest leaders, scientists, and artists were gardeners.
Winston Churchill gardened to relax and solve problems. He created a beautiful butterfly garden at Chartwell:
George Washington Carver, one of the greatest American botanists and horticulturalists, maintained a 17-acre homestead, growing a wide-variety of plants.
Claude Monet's garden in Giverny, France is visited to this day and was the inspiration for many of his paintings.
The greatest rose gardener, David Austin, turned his knowledge into a world-class business.
Gardening is a bridge to opportunity. Gardening will give your student confidence, joy, inspiration, self-sufficiency, health, beauty, and career opportunity.
